Hi
I used to play a lot of this but never got good at it.
If I were to train, I would include a great deal of rotational medicine ball work and add in some with the versa trainer. After building up the athleteâs strength, program in some rapid floor to ceiling moves with elastic resistance. Go both directions on this.
There are equipment manufacturers that sell the speed measuring gear that could tell you if your speed was improving.
You may even be able to video the move and then count the frames to see if you are getting better.
