Hi
Im reletivley new to athletics coaching (Level 1, been coaching for about 2-3 years) , specifically the throwing events.
a part from my coach as a reference i have also found that the sports coach website http://www.brianmac.demon.co.uk/siteindx.htm of so much use to me when im putting together training sessions and small info booklets for my athletes.
If you go to the site use the a-z in the columb on the left and search out your specific throwing event, i dont think the hammer throw is in there though.
I compete in all the throwing events myself (strongest event being the javelin) i have also found the Javelin discussion forum to be useful just post up a question and alot of the time top athletes such as Tom Pukstys and Tom Petranoff answer. heres the link http://disc.server.com/Indices/109718.html
If you would like any more info just ask, i may not know the answer but i may know someone that does :D

Hi
On my web Site (Sports Coach - www.brianmac.demon.co.uk) I have a page called "Coaches Corner" (link on the left side of the home page). On these pages coaches from a variety of sports and from around the world have registered their interest in sharing their experience and knowledge with other coaches and athletes. There are about 16 throws coaches from the UK currently listed - perhaps you would like to register your details.
There are pages on my site covering discus, shot and Javelin at the moment.
Hope this helps
Brian
