as amateur I am interesting in coaching to avoid mistake , bad training or over training. my main sport is road bike and I try this year an internet coaching with sport consultant: I found that it was very expensive and the coach was not easy to join even with internet. I have learnt some tip like intervall training and rest time and keep the programs training to try it myself in 2004.
I have done sport test and found my maximum heart rate, own training zone in a sport centre in Lyon and the internet coach have only to give me adapted programs. this programs were difficult to understand and to apply and I found no pleasure to follow them . He never phoned to me or e-mail to me to check if it was OK. he only wait for my numerous data and his conclusion was general and help me few.
This winter I am training with home trainer and chris carmichael video tape (CTS): it' s great and stimulating easy to adapt to my own case and I am able to train one hour 5 days during the week.

Hi
I am primarily a track and field coach but I have worked with Tri athletes in the past working with them on their overall training plans and running. I was an endurance runner (5k to 50k) so have no personal experience of competing in a triathlon.
Happy to be involved in any discussions.

Hi there, I am new to coaching triathletes and would definitely love to be in on any discussions regarding tri training, tips, coaching, etc.
Most of the athletes I am working with right now are new to the sport, most have completed one or two seasons of tri's.
Looking forward to sharing ideas and experiences.
Take care, Kim.

I've done a lot of psych work with swimmers, some track but no cycling or tri as yet. I'll pitch in when I can.
