IN 200M SPRINT ON THE START WHEN YOU ARE SPRINTING FOR ABOUT 20/30 METERS YOU KEEP YOUR BODY LOW (60 degrees)

ARE YOU MENT TO KEEP IT ANY LONGER FOR 60 METERS OR LESS ETC?

You should maintain your forward lean during the acceleration phase and then move to a more upright position to maintain top speed.

sprinting is not my area of expertise, but i remember watching a thraining program with Maurice Green, and he divided his races up into 3 phases.

Start Phase, (power, power, POWER) leaning forward
Acceleration Phase (Increase stride length + become upright)
Deceleration Phase (mentaining of speed)

in 100m sprint, i was taught to maintain leaning position for 60m, but it varires doesn;t it ?
whether the person's start off p[ahse is longer or shorter
and think leaning hleps to reduce the 'wind block' (not srue aobutt he exact term)...
these are very tactical things
