Just a thought today while doing some heel drops in the gym as part of physio for achilles tendinitis. Both heel drops standing on the floor and heel drops from a bench have been advocated, with the latter obviously (? - I'm no expert) taking the tendon through a greater range of movement. It occurred to me, though, that the heel drops without a bench more closely mirror the running action, which is the sport I practise. Does anyone have any thoughts or comments on this, please? Many thanks.
