About 8 weeks ago while playing football on astro turf I hurt my ankle.
I got no knock on the ankle.the pain came on during the game and by the end of the game it was very sore.It feels like bruising betwwn the heel bone and the arch of the foot.
I do have somewhat fallen arches but this is the first time I can recall such an injury.
The injury is frustrating as that it niggles and I would not have full confidence in playing football as it stands...........ps have tried calf stretches etc but little seems to help.

Has anyone else seen this problem or have any cure or exercise that may help ?
