ANKLE PROBLEM MISC???

hi im new to this site, i have a weird ankle...my left ankle on the inside clicks all the time-fine- but recently like the last few days it has bcum really stiff and a bit painful...mainly after running and doing body pump at my local gym. i have booked in to see the sports injury clinic next week but was wondering if ne1 cud shed any light on wat may be the problem...i also noticed that if i put a finger over the part i think is stiff if i move my ankle upwards i can feel a small stretching clicking (no sound this time tho) just wondered if anyone else has had this or knows wat it cud be? thanx-claire
