Hi, im a rower and ive developed a pain in what feels like the tendon at the back of my knee, which has spread round to the front. Its not overly painful, and normally id rest it for a few days but i need to be able to row in short trials on wednesday- is there anything i can do to relax it or something to do until then- such as light occasional stretching or light weights or jogging? Help me please!!

Short term find a good remedial therapist and get the swelling/tendon sorted out, long term find out why it is there i.e. have you got enough range of movement in the ankle. Cure the cause and not just the problem. good luck for your event and let us know how you get on. Cheers John Murphy
Thankyou!!
