I'm a Rugby League coach with a reasonable knowledge of injury rehab & management but a couple of injuries to two of my players are a little mystifying.

The first player has a re-occuring hamstring injury that has moved from the middle of the biceps femuros to just under the lower gluteals to the upper reaches of the groin toward the rear of the thigh.

I don't understand how the injury can move from one muscle to another but impair the player in a similar way. If someone could help me with an explaination & rehab of the injury it would be appreciated.

Secondly, I have another player who has had a history of left groin strains which flare up from time to time during a playing season but now the left side is fine & the right hip flexor area has become a niggling distraction & I would like to fix it before it becomes more than this.

Could someone recommend a strategy to strengthen the groins & rehab the hip flexor.

Regards
