i am wondering if anyone on line has been helped related to lower back pain since bug bit. Not lyme's disease.

slight clicking (hypermobility) of one lower lumbar joint. Wondering if affect multifidus muscle. less stability can be made to click in flexion and extension. No pain with clicking. Increased pain at night. Movement only slightly restricted.

Has anyone else sufferred lingering pain?

anyone have ideas about mulifidus instability at a single level?

Thanks for any thoughts.

I do alot of work on Multifidus muscles on people with back pain to very good effect, I would check to see if there is any spasm in the muscle and reduce/remove it and then move on to strengthening exercises, but remember with back problems it not all about strength you need endurance as well. Have you a locked facet joint on one side? a good sports massuer should be able to check any soft tissue problems for you. good luck. Take it easy John Murphy
