Well i have always been injury prone. Mainly just niggles lasting a week, but sometimes longer. Well my injuries were ongoing, so i sought the aid of a sports physician. He identified the problem. My right hip is screwed up basically causing my right leg to be shorter then the left. He said this combined with doing alot of hard training, particuarly high repetions of kicking for eg cause injuries to surface easily and frequently. He has reffered me to another guy, who im seeing in two days, who will give me a strength program, and a program with excersises to fix my problem.

Im very happy with this good news, as i know i can now fix my injury problems, and get a specialised weights program in place, which will then allow me to set up a speed orientated program [speed for football] with plyos, form running, hill running speed endurance, agility etc.

Im very happy at this good news. Take my advice: If you have ongoing 'niggling' injuried and seem to be proe to strains etc alot more than normal, seek specefic help from a specialist! [This guys was the physio for the australian soccer team at the 2000 olympics so i assume he knows what his doing!]
