hi I dislocated my shoulder during a boxing match 2 years ago, I seen a physioafter it and it was fine for a while, but recently I get pains in the shoulder area I cant pinpoint it as it feelks like it is deep in the shoulder. Certain exercises like shoulder press I cant do without pain and discomfort? Has anyone got any ideas what it can be and how to treat it?

I dislocated my shoulder 13 times and then had surgery. One thing I do to avoid injury is not doing any shoulder exercises that require me to put my arms over my head. You could have pinched a few things in your shoulder when you put your arms over your head. I do rotator cuff exercises and side and front raises with dumbells. Ice the area and take anti inflammatories. If it doesn't get better then see a doc. Avoid bench press also. That exercise forces your arm to go behind your shoulder when you come down with bar and puts stress on the shoulder.
