Hi
To make sure you ankle heals properly and to prevent it happening again you need to do some strength and balance exercises. Using a resistance band is great for strengthening the muscles surrounding the ankle, and also doing calf raises (firstly on both legs and then on the bad leg only). For balance (or posh word - proprioception) a wobble board is great. If not then you can just do exercises balancing on one leg for e.g. with the eyes closed, or moving the arms or pointing in front and behain you with the free foot.
