My upper left arm, between the bicep and tricep kills when I try to bend it upwards, do pushups or lift 5 lb dumbells for shoulder work. It comes and goes for the past couple months. I dont want to stop working my arms, but it seems I have no choice. it hurts so much I cant even lift the left arm!
I have had no injuries and am in good shape. I do have a bad back even though I'm only a 20 year old.

Help!!

Upper arm pain

Hello Ragle, I have the same problem. I am not very active but, when I started exercising, the following days is when i experienced the pain. It comes and goes whenever. I can barely wash my hair, and other tasks that require me to lift my arm.

The only information I have found out is, due to my inactivity, that is the main cause of the problem. It involves the nerves located in my arm, which become aggravated from exercising. All the stretching and contracting of my arm muscles.

If you have any more information to offer me, I would greatly appreciate it. Hope you are doing better.
