I am a 14 year old male living in Hamilton, Canada. I run the 100m and my current time is 12 flat. I am looking to improve this. If anyone has any advice where I could find a training program and the results i could expect from it it would be appreciated. :!:
Thanks again

Troy,
In case you wanted to know i've discovered a great exercise that will improve your time. If you work with plyometrics which consists of jumping and hopping your 100m time will increase. Try doing box jumps, standing long jumps, etc, until you have completed the desired amouint of reps. With plyometrics I was able to increase my time from 12 flat to 11.4. Hope this helps with your training. Send me your results.

You might want to consider joining a track club. There is a club in Hamilton called the Hamilton Olympic Club. To find out how to contact them, go to : www.tnfnorth.com and make a post on the message board.

These are the links of some of the exercises you asked for.

Exercises which require you to stand on a box/step to then jump off needs some caution. At your age and level of ability, you need to work on a small step and concentrate on technique.
If you can get hold of Don Chu's book - Jumping into Plyometrics it will give you some really good guidance.
