Well hello!
I haved just read your information and advice on Ephedrine. To say the least, i'm not happy.
I have been bodybuilding for over 12 years including winning numerous titles which we WILL not mention. Either way I am completely natural and always have been. To say that this stimulant only works with caffiene is extremely misleading.
I have been using this 'drug' for a long time. Only temporarly but the same dosage as any other fitness proffessional.
The fact that it cannot be used for short OR long muscle fibres (long distance and short distance) is complete nonesense.
When I use the correct dosage of this completely (legal) drug I can run 10 miles in my sleep and not be tired. I can usually only run 2 average miles a day.
Would you like to know the real kicker in this little charade???
I hate coffee.
I bet your thinking "well the caffiene must of kicked in".
Your wrong. Let me explain why:
I used to be an 18-30's club rep in Ibiza. This means I have pretty much done it all.
Caffiene effects me the same way as horlicks effects the elderly!!!!!
Lasts for a couple of minutes and then falls asleep.
OH. By the way I forgot to mention that i'm training to be a doctor, if you ever need any advice then please ask.

How long should you be training at your Zone 3 (81-90% of your max heart rate) and how often should this be done to maximize fitness.

Is carb loading a good book for information on intake of both carbs and fat for a high intensity anaerobic exercises?
I am interesting in precisely calculating my caloric intake and my macronutrient ratio. I have read that during an anaerobic workout your body uses 54% carbs, 39% fat, and 6% protein. Post workout and during slower movements in the day your body uses 6% protein, 54% fat, and 39% carbohydrate. Is this true or is there a more precise measurement I can use?
Here's a good article on how the body metabolizes macronutrients
Here's an article about the importance on dietary fat intake and a calculator for calories expended. You'll be surprised to find you're not taking in enough calories and that is why you may not be recovering or getting stronger.
Sorry if the above articles are blasphemy to this web-site. Those are the best examples I could find. Point me to better sources if they exist.
According to the above links I probably need to take in 5700 calories a day in order to maintain my 240 pound build. I want to work down to 6% bodyfat. This is based on if I were to attend college, work 4-8 hours a day at a physical job, practice 20 minutes of olympic weightlifting/HIT hybrid three times a week, sprint, dance, calisthenics, do martial arts, stretch, and jump rope. That would be a total of 5-10 hours a week of exercising and other non athletic activities. 8 hours of sleep a day.
I am going to work to attain Bruce Lee's quality and intensity.
Thank You,
Daniel Christopher Holt
