I am 14 yrs. old and i was wondering what all the fuss is about on creatine as many people at my school are beginning to use it. I was wondering if it's safe, if it is legal in sports and if i should take it as i am a 100m and 400m sprinter.
Thanks, Jeff

it is legal, safe, and can help sprinters. I'd recommend doing some google searches to find out more information. There are also some article on peak performance about it.

The link below has been posted a few times for creatine info. It has the info you are looking for. I have got the Peak Performance Creatine -Cutting Through the Myth report which is also very good although very detailed. If you can get your hands on it, it is good.

Jeff, the best supplementation you can take to boost your performance is a balanced diet, you are simply to young to be taking creatine, although legal, their are many doubts about its effect on the human liver.
Please trust me on this one mate, Dan

growth alone will improve your sprinting faster than anything else.
ergogenic aids are only really if you have reached a training and performance plateau.
Dont touch it, good food, mum's home cooking and plenty of water will be fine.
A change in training will also give you a boost. Eg skipping, plyometrics, etc
