As I've mentioned elsewhere, I have just begun to step up my training and have been considering supplementation. For the most part, I am interested in
CREATINE and HMB as I've read a great deal on both and I am wondering what others have to say.
Specifically, I am going from a desk to commiting myself to working out four to five days a week. The plan now is to do cardio on all days for about 20-30 minutes, weight training uppers and lowers on alternate off days, and taking a yoga class or just doing some swimming on the remaining days.
I know I need to take a good 24-48 hours off from retraining a muscle group to heal so I am wondering if a) creatine will help with developing muscle strengh and b) if HMB supplemetation will do something towards reducing my aching muscles after each workout.
The body does need to repair itself and I understand that. If there is anything that is organic is nature (or a synthesized version of something we already possess) then I'm all for it.
Again, there is LOTS of info out there so I am looking for some personal experiences.
Thanks in advance

Definately go with the creatine. Wouldnt bother with the HMB, anecdotally it is pretty good in times of heavy loading and overreaching. Wouldnt advise to take it for 'reducing DOMS' as you have asked :)
