I was penalised with a controversial penalty try today near the end of the match. Basically he was running towards me head on and I natually held onto him to stop his momentum at around 3m from try, he was pushing forward so I twisted my body and then pulled him down with my him lying onon top of me (my back on grass)and his hands still on the ball. Then the ref blew the whistle and indicated that it was a penality try. But then he was still 2 or 3 steps away from tryline. The ref thinks that I high tackled him but all the while my arms were pressing his arms (preventing him form passing) hence around his chest, but defo not above or close to his neck area when i pulled him down.
