Does anyone know of any organizations or businesses that like to sponcor young upcoming athetes. We are sprinters and we are trying to find some money in order for us to go to the US junior track and field outdoor championships. If any of you know of anyone it would be greatly appreciated.

Prob best thing for you to do is approach local gyms and fitness centres. Many companies will be reluctant to shell out cash unless you're a high standard athlete with loads of press coverage. However, if you approach a local gym, tell them about the competition and that you would like them to sponsor you and return you would take part in a press release promoting the gym to the general public. Many companies do outreach communtiy projects as good PR. You prob won't get a fortune, but maybe some cash and a free gym membership.

Hey, that is a great idea. Thank you a whole bunch. I will keep everyone posted here on how I do this summer. I really hope think I will be one of the top athletes at the USATF junior olympics for track and field.
