With all of the mis-information around from supplement companies does anyone know which supplements actually are worth taking, and which are a waste of time.

I have always stuck to Creatine cycle, Protein Mixed with Simple Carbs (post workout).

However there are so many ones like L-Glutamine, L-Arginine(claims of helping recovery) etc etc and the list goes on and on.

As there are so many coaches and sports professionals on this site,
which would you recommend to a person wishing to gain size, ,strength and speed, who also has a comprehensive weights and power program?

thanks for your comments Alan. In response I am certainly not looking for or relying on a magic powder.

I have trained hard for the best part of 8 - 9 years, and I was just curious if there were any supplements that had come into the fold that are widely recognised as a staple part of any serious athletes training regime.

The only supplements that are widely accepted as legal ergogenic aids are caffenie, bicarbonate and creatine as well as use of CHOs at specific times.

I try to keep an ear to the ground with a number of new supplements, often herbal, that could pose benefits. Cissus Quadrangularis (6% Ketosterone) is something that has come to my attention recently but alas nothing special to report of yet
