HELLO AND THANKS TO ANYONE WHOCAN SUGGEST WAYS TO IMPROVE THE TAKE OFF . I AM A21 YEAR FEMALE ATHLETE WITH A TIMING OF4.1 SEC FOR 30MTRS AND5.2SEC FOR 40MTRS . MY BEST JUMP IS 5.90MTRS MYPROBLEM IS THAT IAM NOT GETTING ENOUGH HEIGHT AND AM UNABLE TO CONVERT MY SPEED INTO A GOOD LIFTOFF THANKS FOR ANY VALUABLE ADVICE. FROM RITA

hey rita,
could it possibly be that you didn't bend your knees low enough when you lift off?
which leg do you usually lift off?
maybe you sohuld try to practise some squat jumps....
trying to reahc as high as you can.. sounds like hamstrings are the key to your take off

u no wat the problem is you u wernt made for long jump u were made for triple jump
