I run a 6 min mile on the treadmill. My buddy says I won't be able to break a 6:30 mile on a track. So I've bet him a $100. What do you think? I have another month to train. I say absolutely no problem.

Definitely there's a difference in how the body responds. (Not sure if I would have bet $100 either way... LOL). I would suggest though to make sure that your training for this bet, is being done outside.
