i have the same problem but if its a choice try to get a lane that has a less curve(lanes 4-8) but if you do get stuck in a tighter curve i myself try to focus in on catchin the competition that is startin ahead of you...and that will take your mind off of "o i have to turn" because you will be thinking of the race not the turn...but i know what you mean because i sort of have the same exact problem but thats just what i do :)

make sure your blocks are positioned for the bend and not set up straight like in a 100m. also when u go down into your blocks make sure your hands are also positioned in the correct way, with your left hand slightly back from the line. lean in when running the bends, especially on a 200m if you have an inside lane
