It wasn't a movie, more a video documentary thing, but my little brother had a video about Daley Thompson which he watched OBSESSIVELY as a child. I mean several times daily lol.

Oh crikey... it went on for some time, I think, but he did grow out of it, I am happy to say!
Little bro is what- 32ish now? (I lose track!) and it would have been the olympics when he was a little boy of about 7/8, and he was really into it. I mean REALLY into it, and when they finished he asked when the next one was, thinking maybe next year.
Well, he was devastated! Talk about one brokenhearted little boy! Four years is such a long time to wait when you are 8!!!
So my Mum bought him the documentary/video of DT at the Olympics- Decathlon, I think it was- and hence the obsession on watching that.

I wonder if he even remembers it? I sure as heck do... could have been worse though. I had my own video obsessions in my time, the most memorable being The Sound Of Music hehe. The hiiiillllllls are aliiiiiiive!!!!
