Hi
I'm Jacka very new to the site and found it when searchin for some information on a diet plan. I'm 30 years of age, 6ft and currently fluxuating between 85 and 89 KG which I really want to get down to 78 - 80. I play 5 aside for an hour 3 times per week (most weeks), however by the end of it I am completely exhausted and unable to do any further exercise. I want to get myself fit again as since I had a cruciate ligament injury 3 years ago I've not only sruggled to get back to the same fitness level but cant seem to shift the extra weight I have put on. I've tried to diet but the last time I did the weight watchers with my partner I was so exhausted I nearly passed out after playing football one night.
Does anyone know of a specific diet plan or where I can get one to not only give me a great deal more energy, but also to help me shed the extra pounds I'm carrying.
Please help!

Have you tried any supplements? I wonder if you are slightly aneamic (sp?) or similar, and the 'passing out ness' isn't lack of food or nutrition, but a processing issue?
I'd be inclined to get a broad spectrum mineral and vitamin supplement. Ensure lots of fruit and veggies, and give it a month to see if things changed.
Remember, always take iron rich foods with Vitamin C rich foods......... or you won't metabolise it.
Alternatively you could go to your GP and get some bloods done - it'd be quicker.
supplements + healthy eating

I agree with Corris,
Mineral and vitamin supplement is a great contributor towards build up of energy and recovery of muscles alongside a healthy eating plan.
Now Jacka based on your description, you seem quite active and if you are planning to lose weight, you just need to cut back on the oily food, junk food, fast-food and increase the number of fruits and vegetables (I advise to replace these with the snacks).
Now based on what you eat on daily basis you can analyse and really find out on which area's you need to focus on.
I can provide you with a life-style analyser, which is like a simple & quick tick-sheet and can help you assess yourself.
Hi Jacka I think you should

Hi Jacka
I think you should try something else. Quit football !!
You shoild preferably build up your cardio endurance befoire trying to compete in football again. Get back to basics. Cardio training, strength training and so on. If you are not fit enough you won't be able to play football as you wish.
Keep on going with a good diet and this will inevitably helo you to loose this extra weight.
Be patient and keep focus.
good luck
