what is the most unusual piece of advice- that works- that you have been given, regarding training, nutrition or whatever?

Heavy squats 10 mins before a rugby game !

That seemed pretty crazy idea at the time.
This was at university in the mid-90's when we just learn't about 'Post-activation Potentiation' (PAP).

I must say it worked for me though.
