For some, exercise is a drug and when that fix isn't there every day, withdrawal symptoms can set it. Doing some level of physical acitivity each day may help ease some of the feelings of anxiety or anger. A short 3k jog...a quick Spartan 300 workout (100 situps, 100 pushups, 100 bodyweight squats). Good luck and I hope you find something that works for you.

Welcome Andrewste and gnkinc, lovely to have you here. Andrewste, exercise releases 'feel good' hormones doesn't it, and it's closely linked with mental wellbeing, so it's unsurprising you notice a dip in mood on non exercise days. I think gnkinc's advice is great but if you can't manage this even a brisk walk might help to lessen those tense angry feelings- anything that gets the muscles moving and the blood pumping more than usual ought to do the trick.

Dealing with anger/stress.

Hi Andrewste, perhaps this is not such an uncommon problem, and many of us have experienced this "outlet" that sport and other intense activity can provide. From the sounds of your situation ( and please excuse me if i have misunderstood ) it may be that you have unresolved issues with those in your circle of family friends & acquaintances . IF and i stress IF this is the case, sport becomes at best a temporary fix, overriding these deeper feelings.
I have some experience of exactly these feelings and thoughts myself and discovered, through meditation, and gradually developing a more peaceful, patient mind towards challenging people & situations, that my anger and stress levels have slowly abated. Both in & outside of my sporting activities! (Haven't given anything up)
I do hope this has some resonance with you.

Kind regards & all the best.

Hello and welcome Louphenou.

Hello and welcome Louphenou. Some excellent points there, I'm glad the meditation has such a positive effect.
