RUNNING TECHNIQUE BEFORE TRAINING METHODS
Everyone walks runs and sprints with the right technique or they couldn't do them at all. Everyone does these three self transport stages, which I define as running slow to fast. They all use gravity as the only force that can move them to run.
People have opposing muscles. One side moves them in one direction and the other side moves them in the opposite direction. Both sides should not be used together for the purpose of moving. When bad technique mixes in with good technique, it causes excessive tension. That tension cuts circulation, respiration, causes injuries and limits performance.
Your legs are not designed to push your upper body forward. They are made to push the hip straight up when the leg is extended. The only way you can run is by standing off balance first then jumping. You go up and forward, up by extending the leg and forward by being pulled by gravity.
On the space station, where there is no gravity, you can go straight up as you do on earth, but you can't take one step forward as you do on earth. Next time you run, don't push back at the ground and notice that it is actually easier to run faster that way. My videos will explain it visually.

Any object, animate or inanimate, will topple towards the ground with the top falling ahead of its base. That is how gravity works when an object stands off center.

Position of the landing spot in relation to the center of balance (approximately navel high) provides the gravity power for the pace. You don't need to measure how far you reach ahead.
