I do not know what is wrong with my hamstring. It could be pulled but not sure. It feels like I am just sore but about three times as worse. If anybody knows what is wrong please let me know. Everybody tells me to rest but I really don't want to do that. It got better but then when I started back up I injured it again. Please tell me if you know anything. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
Speak to a medical professional about it if you are worried. Rest may be necessary got complete recovery. If you do not allow a muscle to repair itself then itwill never get better. Hence why you keep injurying the same muscle. You may need some rehab exercises to sort it out.
Without knowing what the problem is, cant give you any advice but to get advice and possibly treatment from someone who is qualified.
I do not like it when people tell me to rest. As a matter of fact I got into an argument with my Coach about it. But I guess that is what I am going to have to do. What kind of doctor do you suggest I go to? If you have anything else please let me know.
Speak to your local GP who can refer you to a physio. the physio maybe ablr to diagnose the problem and give you corrective exercises to help.
Far to often athletes return to soon after injury resulting in about 25-50% chance of reoccurance within a week or two. To progress you need to be able to train. if you are repeatedlyinjured you will never be able to complete a training cycle and not progress. Listen to your body. If you are in pain, why compete until it is fully recovered.
