In order to tackle the noticeable issue of spam, we're looking at using increased security for each post. Basically it would involve filling in a password/code each time you post which means any automated posts from spammers souldn't work.
Obviously this will take up a little bit more time when you use the forum so we at Peak Performance Online were wondering what our users opinions were, and if they would rather do that than the current spam situation?
This forum had died. This is the first time I have been on the forum to post in months. I would definately continue to use the forum if you had to log each time you posted if it stopped all the spamming.
I would put the increased measures in place, clean up the spam from the site and alert every user that you have done so. Judging by the repsonse to this posting, 5 people out of over 2000 users, everyone has left and are not returning. Until people know that the site has reduced/removed the spam, no one will post or reply

SPAM ISSUES
Hi everyone,
In order to tackle the noticeable issue of spam, we're looking at using increased security for each post. Basically it would involve filling in a password/code each time you post which means any automated posts from spammers souldn't work.

Please let us know below!
